The Anchored Abstinence Recipe™ can complement the support you may be receiving from AA or other structured recovery programs by addressing the often-overlooked physiological aspects of alcohol dependency. While 12-Step programs provide essential community, structure, and accountability, they typically do not focus on the deep nutritional imbalances, brain chemistry disruptions, and physiological imbalances that contribute to cravings, sleep disturbances, unremitting fatigue, nervous system dysregulation, and mood challenges.
Our program fills this gap by providing science-backed strategies to restore balance at the biochemical level, helping to stabilize energy, improve sleep, and support a more resilient mindset. By integrating these elements into your existing recovery framework, you gain a comprehensive, sustainable approach that enhances your ability to maintain abstinence while feeling truly well—both physically and mentally.
The program is designed with flexibility in mind. There are no fixed start or end dates, offering you complete flexibility to begin and progress at your own pace.
The program is structured around a 13-week (12+1) module system, which is ideally completed over three consecutive months. However, we understand the need for flexibility, so the program is also adaptable to be completed over a three to six-month period, allowing you to progress at a pace that suits your individual needs and schedule without impacting results.
Many participants start with the goal of enjoying a drink or two in moderation upon graduation. Other participants wish to exclude it from their diet entirely once it is out.
Regardless of your goal, we work with you to create a practical and sustainable approach to removing alcohol from your diet at the onset of the program. To reset your susceptibility to redeveloping a nightly pattern of consumption, it's required that you exclude wine and cocktails from your diet for the duration of your program.
Once the alcohol is removed, the next phases of the program are designed to repair, rebuild, and rebalance your brain, body-mind and body systems. Upon completion of the program and based on your newfound understanding of your self and what influences alcohol consumption, you will be able to make a confident decision about whether or not you wish to reintroduce it into your diet.
You will have access to the private 1:1 coaching calls for the length of your program (3 to 6 months). Upon graduation from the program you will also have the option to maintain, an alumni monthly membership for extended support and guidance if needed. To date we have not had a graduate require any additional 1:1 calls beyond those offered in the program.
The program is designed to deliver the most impactful results through the completion of all 13 modules in a sequential order.
Our research, beta-testing and delivery of the program have shown that participants achieve the deepest transformation and gain the highest level of confidence in maintaining their goals when they fully engage with all of the modules.
To get the most value from our program, we encourage you to explore all the modules. That said, many graduates have found success by tailoring their journey, focusing on the lessons and elements that truly resonated with them. This flexibility allows you to make the experience uniquely your own, aligning with what feels most supportive and impactful for you.

Your engagement in our program and the group community is protected with the highest standards of privacy, adhering to both PIPEDA and HIPAA regulations.
This means that every piece of information you share within the program is safeguarded with the same rigor as your online health records, ensuring your privacy is maintained globally.
The program is designed to be individualized and effective without the necessity of any newly acquired medical laboratory testing. We utilize information provided in your alcohol bio-type assessment, Nutri-Systems Profile™ assessment, and health history intake as well as your unique experience throughout the program to personalize your nutrition, supplement and lifestyle protocols.
We do consider recent (within 6 months) medical laboratory test results when those are available. These results will be used enhance our understanding of your benchmark health history, alcohol, and nutritional assessments, allowing for more personalized recommendations.
It's important to note that we do not order, conduct, or directly receive any laboratory test results. The program is structured to accommodate varying levels of medical information, ensuring that each participant receives tailored guidance and support.
While the use of supplements is recommended, it's not mandatory for success. We understand that making significant shifts in brain and body health in a short period of time (3 months) can be challenging through diet and lifestyle changes alone. Hence, we recommend specific supplements, selected from professional online dispensaries based on their dosages and ingredients, to ensure optimal efficacy and suitability for your unique needs. These supplements are chosen from a range of professional-grade options.
If you wish to use your own supplements, they will be required to meet the criteria outlined in the program to ensure they align with our standards and your health goals. This approach allows for client flexibility while ensuring that participants receive the most effective support for their nutritional needs.
Upon completing the program, participants experience the elimination of cravings, thoughts, desires, or inclinations to consume alcohol.
Graduates feel confident completely excluding wine and cocktails from their diet. This newfound independence transcends the feeling of being restricted or confined. Beyond changes in alcohol-related habits, women in the program also report a variety of other positive outcomes, including:
Physical Health Improvements: Weight loss, increased energy, enhanced sleep quality, better memory, clarity, and focus, improved digestive health and bowel movements, reduced bloating and diarrhea/constipation, reduced aches and pains.
Mental and Emotional Benefits: Enhanced mood, better stress management, increased patience and tolerance, reduction or elimination of perimenopause/menopause symptoms.
Aesthetic Enhancements: Healthier looking and feeling skin, hair, and nails and weight loss.
Social and Personal Development: Improved relationships, a deeper sense of self, and a renewed belief in their own strength, abilities, and self-compassion.
The variation in results differ among participants and reflect the holistic approach of the program, impacting various aspects of health and well-being.
Upon completion of the program, you will have gained a profound personal experience and a solid understanding of how the right protocols and practices can dismantle alcohol dependency. Moreover, you will be equipped with practical, actionable, and sustainable skills that empower you to maintain your success independently well beyond the program.
Your location does not limit your ability to participate in our program. You can access the program platform and join coaching calls from anywhere in the world using a personal computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
The program app gives you access to your program, meal planner and community from your notebook/iPad or your mobile. The program is designed to be highly accessible, with all materials available digitally for easy completion. However, having access to a printer is strongly recommended for the best experience.
Our client base is diverse, with participants to date from Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States, demonstrating the program's wide accessibility and effectiveness regardless of geographical location.
The distinctiveness of our program lies in its comprehensive approach to both the physical body and psychological mind. We focus on working with your physical brain and body at the cellular level, employing targeted nutrition and lifestyle strategies to correct neurological and hormonal imbalances. This approach is fundamental in breaking free from the habitual cycle that many women find challenging.
In tandem with addressing physiological and biochemical imbalances, we also engage with the mental and emotional aspects of the nightly habit. This is achieved through a combination of energetic intuition, psychoeducation, dialectic behaviour therapy training, cognitive behavior training, self-discovery, and professional accountability and support.
Our holistic strategy ensures a complete mind and body transformation, enabling you to gain independence from wine or cocktails without the sensation of missing it.
The key difference lies in the nature and extent of support provided. While other medical professionals offer valuable health care, they often lack the capacity to deliver the continuous, personalized nutritional and lifestyle support that is crucial for long-term success. It is also important to recognize that medication alone cannot fully address root cause imbalances or compensate for an inadequate diet and lifestyle.
Our program bridges this gap by focusing on sustainable mental shifts alongside dietary and lifestyle changes consistently with regular connection points. By complementing the medical care you may already be receiving with our program, you gain a more holistic approach to your health, ensuring you stay on course and achieve enjoyable, long-lasting success.
Yes, there is an opportunity for continued engagement after graduation. Graduates can opt for a month-by-month alumni membership in The Anchored Abstinence Recipe™ Community. This membership allows you to maintain access to the group, providing ongoing support and community connection.
It's important to note that the core objective of the program is to equip you with the tools and confidence to move forward independently. We measure success by your ability to close this chapter in your life and maintain your achievements on your own. The alumni membership is there to support you in this transition, ensuring you have the resources and community support as you continue your journey independently.
Currently, the program is not designed for individuals following a vegan or vegetarian diet. While we recognize that the habit we address is equally present among women with all types of diets, the specific nutritional approach of our program is crucial for achieving transformative and lasting results.
Our methodology focuses on correcting neurochemical imbalances and deficiencies in the brain and throughout the rest of the body, which we have found challenging to effectively address with the restrictions of vegan or vegetarian diets. We believe in the importance of a comprehensive nutritional approach that may not be fully compatible with these diets, as we aim to ensure the most effective and sustainable outcomes for our participants.
Yes, we offer a refund policy for the program. If you complete all 13 modules and feel that you haven't experienced the transformative results you anticipated, we will provide a refund. You can read more about our moneyback guarantee here. However, it's worth noting, we haven't had to do that, as our clients have found the program to be highly effective and deeply transformative.
